Meredith’s first experience writing wills was in her small office in Fort Bragg, CA, in 1986, with her newborn daughter sleeping (and sometimes crying) in her crib. Later, while working in a larger firm, she began her probate practice. Early on, Meredith honed her courtroom skills as Deputy District Attorney, first in the child support department, later prosecuting felonies, and in 2007 was elected District Attorney of Mendocino County.
Whether working as a sole practitioner, firm associate, or District Attorney, Meredith has always recognized the need for gaining the knowledge and tools to best serve her clients.
As District Attorney of Mendocino County, she enhanced the criminal justice system by establishing programs for youth, including a truancy and intense life skills program for trouble teens. She also established an elder abuse program.
